7 months - a few weeks late

Dear Miles,

7 months have come and gone, I can't believe how quickly you are growing. People warned me about this. You are crawling like a mad man right now. You move all around our house and are quite proud of yourself. You pull yourself up on the furniture or us, pretty soon you will be cruising around. You can sit yourself up when you are laying down. You have 4 teeth now. Two in the middle on the bottom and 2 fangs - where are the top 2 teeth? Hopefully they will come in soon, it might be hard to eat (unless it is soup) with out those middle top 2 teeth.

You love your jump a roo still. You love to play with your toys, you don't have a favorite right now, but you like to play with anything, including wooden spoons (which we discovered this morning).

Swimming is going well, you go underwater and are starting to kick your legs around. We put you in the backpack for the first time for a fall hike, you promptly fell asleep. You still love to sing songs (well listen to mommy and daddy sing). Your favorites are "itsy bitsy spider" and "the wheels on the bus".

Your favorite food is still anything orange - but you will try anything (except mommy's cooking). You recently discovered yogurt, you can eat 1/2 a container in a sitting. When daddy eats his yogurt you try to eat it right from his spoon. You use a sippy cup now, although water tends to get all over you and not so much in your mouth.

You still don't sleep all night, you really like to sleep in our bed - Mommy has made that a really bad habit, but I figure you want to be with me now so why not?

You laugh all the time and are such a smiley baby.
