Halloween Greetings

I really love this time of the year. The leaves are really pretty and there is nothing better than dressing kids up in cute costumes. Ella could care less, even though I thought she made the most adorable elephant. Miles on the other hand did not really like his costume, he kept trying to pull the pants off (I guess the monster feet were bugging him). But he sure did fit the part. On Saturday my mom, dad, the kids and I all did the Monster Dash in Lithia Park - we weren't going for speed, but it was great to see all the other costumes. Yesterday Mike and I took the two little ones down to the plaza to see the Halloween Parade. Which is really just an excuse for everyone in Ashland to crowd the streets and dance the samba. We only had 2 trick or treaters last night, but I guess I didn't expect much since our street is pretty quiet.
