Last weekend, Grammie and Poppy came to visit (and bring late christmas presents). Both the kids were super excited. it is always nice to see everyone and spend a little quality time with my parents. we took a trip to a air and space museum (the kids saw their first movie - in 3d no less) and then took another trip to the portland aquarium, where miles finally agreed to touch a bat ray.
miles is firmly in the potty training phase - we had a ton of success this weekend - no accidents. the key - sticker chart and gummy worms. who knew?

today we went down to corvallis to take the dogs for a hike - we had a muddy time, but the dogs and miles (especially) loved it, ella got a free ride in the pack-pack (as miles calls it). i can't believe it is sunday night and a full week is ahead. is it spring break yet?
