i can't believe it is almost may. time sure does fly by. only 6 more weeks of the school year and then summer vacation. we decided to take another trip back east to visit mike's family and my grandma, so we are busy planning for that trip. it should be interesting - 5 hours in a plane with 2 toddlers. i already have a few nightmares. this time we will go to nyc and then to central pennsylvania to see my grandma.
miles had a great birthday with some friends from school and a pizza party. it was pretty fun to see him running around with his friends having a great time.
we spent my spring break in seattle and probably had the best weather ever. we also went to tacoma to see my cousin for her birthday - man i love that girl. she is everything i want to be. miles fell in love with dharma again, he sure does look up to his big cousin. seattle is really one of the most beautiful cities in the world. we really had a great time and packed the few days we were there with trips to the zoo, the space needle, the ballard locks, and even took a ride on the new ferris wheel on the pier. my parents came up mid week to celebrate birthdays and have a little family time.
we have been battling one virus or another for the past month, leading up to a visit to the doctor's office friday night. hopefully we are on the mend. i ain't gonna lie, it hasn't been pretty.
mike built our garden beds, so we are finally planting a real garden. we haven't had one since we lived in grants pass, so it has been a long time. the kids are really into playing in the dirt, so keeping plants living might be a challenge.
i would like to promise that i will post more regularly, but i am not good with those types of promises, maybe this summer -
