no excuses

it's been awhile. life gets busy when everyone is back at work and school. over the past few months we have endured 2 rounds of swimming lessons, several days of mike traveling for work, new city commissions for mike, visits from family, pumpkin patches, roller derby, birthday number 2 for ella jane, halloween, 2 races and walking pneumonia (this one was just mine and it was terrible). it has just been really busy in that good way - you know your life is full and you are really doing things you love. last year was really tough, and looking back, i am so grateful we all made it through some pretty big ups and downs so smoothly. work is going well for both mike and i, the kids love their pre-school. ella is starting to potty train, which is a big deal around here. mike and i are trying to figure out when to sell our house in ashland and where to buy up here. i have been doing roller derby for a - bout (a roller derby game is called a bout - i can be pretty funny at times) 3 months. i love it. i actually have picked it up better than i would have thought - it is really tough but having this new group of great girls is awesome. plus, i get to have a derby name. i have a bit more time before i earn my name, but believe me we toss around a lot of different ideas. here are some pictures of our past few months.
